Winter Time

Trace Huddy

Now then, we know that according to The Word of God, it is Jesus’ will that all believers in Him prosper and be in good health, even as their soul prospereth. (3rd John:2).
We also know from God’s Word that it is our Lord that gives us the power to get wealth. (Deut 8:18).
So, therefore, The Biblical prosperity incorporates money.  No, money isn’t everything, but it is included. You see, I am convinced that there are reasons that Jesus chooses to bless us.  Yes, even financially.

First, and foremost, Jesus blesses us with money to give, in order that this Good News Gospelsee, this will then fulfill The Great Commission: “go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).

Secondary, Jesus blesses us, yes, monetarily for the sake of us becoming channels of blessing, or conduits of blessing to those that are in need.
What you need to understand is that Jesus said: “If you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto me”. (Mat 25:40).
The Word of God goes on to say that he who is generous to the poor lends to The Lord.; (Prov 19:17).    So now, for the back story. During this wintertime, we must be willing to personally give food to the hungry, shelter for the homeless, blankets and coats to the less fortunate.

As believers in Jesus, we must be willing to reach out a helping hand unto the least, the last, and the lost!
