I LOVE YOU:The Words We Hate To Use!

By James E. Crigger

I LOVE YOU! It seems we don’t hear these words as much as we used to!  WHY?
If you say “I love you” to someone, they'll call you a pervert.  Especially if that person is a child or female,  Jesus loved me and I'm not ashamed to use the L word to say that I love you too.
Love means I will do anything for you.  If I didn’t love you I would not.  You would be just someone I know.
I’m here to say that if you were worth Jesus saying “I love you” you’re worthy of me saying

“I love you”.  If you’re good enough for Jesus, you’re good enough for me.

Maybe the problem is that we don’t use the word love any longer.  I’m proud to say that it never left my vocabulary.
Read the Bible.  You might be surprised when you see things like: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13.  You might be surprised that Love is a commandment, not just a word.
Love is used throughout the Bible (The word Love is used in the Old Testament 284 times and the New Testament 263 times).  A way you feel, not a word you say.
Maybe that’s why we don’t accept salvation.  Salvation is  just another word for love.
I will close this article by simply saying “I LOVE YOU!”.
