Beneath The Chicago "L" in Chicago, Illinois

Anyone who has not taken a vacation to the “wild, wild west” I suggest they do so. There are so many historic sites to see, it would take months if not years to see. We have visited as many as we could.
We went from Ohio through Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana. We will be going through more states but as of this issue these are the ones we cover. The captions on the photos say it all.
Chicago was frustrating, once you get in traffic you cannot easily correct for wrong turns. Not to mention that parking was $15 for two hours or less.

Did not see much in Wisconsin or Minnesota but found lots of places in

South Dakota. My favorite was Bear Country USA which is in a featured article within this issue of The Power Line. Mt. Rushmore was interesting but very crowded. The Badlands of South Dakota were very interesting and unusual. Rick walked through parts of it for a mile or so which worried me some when he was out of sight.
