Things To Do and Places To See is new column that will give you ideas for places for you and family to visit.

Bicycles have been a part of the culture of the world.  They changed transportation for the world.
If you’re interested in the history of the Bicycle, then New Bremen, Ohio is the place to go.

The Bicycle Museum of America has one of the greatest collections of Bicycles in America, if not the world.
Bicycles from the war.  Bicycles from our childhood.  Special Bicycles, common bicycles, tri-cycles, bicycles for two and so on.

I was amazed to see the progression of bicycles. I even saw the kind of bicycle I had when I was a child.  There’s a bicycle from world war II with a rifle harness on the side.  There’s a Hannah Montana bike, Pee Wee Herman’s bike,  Hopalong Cassidy, Gene Autry and Scientific bikes.  Lots and lots of bicycles.
The Bicycle Museum of America’s address is: 7 W. Monroe St. - New Bremen, Ohio 45869.  Their web-site is: www.bicyclemuseum.com.  Their phone is: 1-419-629-9249.
The city of New Bremen also has a working lock from the original Erie Canal.  You won’t be disappointed if you make the journey.
In future issues we will share more Things To Do and Places To See.
Following are photos to excite you to visit New Bremen, Ohio and the Bicycle Museum of America.
