JIM: It seems that in today’s society, love is just a word. Or love only applies to certain people. Yet, Jesus said to “love one another, even as I have loved you” John 13:34-35 Christianity in America has been accused of only caring about tithes and offerings. The world has a negative opinion of Christians. Is this our fault? Are we doing anything to prove they’re wrong. We must love, even the un-loveable. Be a Christian in action, as well as in word. The scripture above says that we can show we are Christian by our love. I have a motto: “Love someone to Christ”. You can’t make them be saved. The words of a sinner’s prayer can’t save them. Only the love that Jesus gave His life for on Calvary will save them. All we can do is show them how Jesus’ love allows us, no compels us to love them.
