Hello Everyone, Are we in summer yet? What happened to spring? Time is so quickly passing by, I feel like it should really only be maybe April… but June? Oh well we must keep on a rolling along.
Each month I try and write something that you can read and feel good about reading or feel the spirit touch your heart and help you in your walk with the Lord. I have been thinking a lot about the Power of God in my Life? Or the lack there of at times. I’m sure we can all say the same thing at one time or another. I have really felt the Lord pulling me in closer and my desire to have more of what God has for me as His child is more prevalent these past few months. Now please do not take this wrong and think that “Oh, Bev is not living right or not serving God the way she should... “It’s not that. There are times in our lives that God just wants us to dig in a little deeper and get a little wetter in his word and his Love….We get so comfortable in our walk with the Lord as Christians, we start compromising things in our life that maybe yesterday we would not have done and before we know it, we’re just not what we once were or we’ve slacked off and we’ve become a little cold in our walk with Christ.
Folks, this is not the time to start slaking… more than ever this ole’ world is wrapping up and we are so close to the appearing of our Lord and Savior, He is going to split those eastern skies and He is coming again… We have to keep our lamps full and our oil jars full, so when we do face hard times, we’ll have what it takes to make it through. Heaven is going to be a wonderful place and we do not want to miss it for anything this world is offering.
You may say …. “But I have loved ones not serving God “and I don’t want God to come back till they have time to get saved… ………. Are we living and praying and setting the example of what and who we should be for those that do not know the Lord. ? Think of Noah and how he felt when God said to load the boat, it is time. Not everyone was ready nor were they willing to get ready, so shall it be when the Trumpet sounds and the Lord returns. I have loved ones that are not serving God, and it breaks my heart. What am I willing to do to make sure they make Heaven? What are you willing to do for those that you know and love to make sure they have every chance to make it to heaven? Let us stop playing and get serious before God; we need to fast and pray for our loved ones. Pray that the Lord will send someone in there life that will be able to share the Love of God with them, witness and lead them back to Christ. We must live what we preach and sing. Walk what we talk, do what we say. Let us look to the hills which comes our help, The Lord God Almighty is our Strong Hold and our refuge. Let’s share Jesus today with someone that is watching you. Smile when you are checking out of the stores or other places, like paying for your gas, going thru the drive thru…. Remember it’s the little things that make a big difference.
