If you travel west on US 180 toward Holbrook, Arizona, you will find the entrance to The Crystal Forest Museum and Gift Shop and the entrance to The Petrified Forest.  The GPS co-ordinates are: 34.792 45, -109.890915.
   The Gift shop also has a campground and crystals, petrified wood and many other souvenirs of the west.
   For the children (and adults) you will find replicas of dinosaurs just waiting to be photographed.

   Rick and I were so excited to see the dinosaurs, the petrified wood, crystals, geos and lots of other souvenirs, fossils and artifacts.
   As you can see, we found the dinosaurs very co-operative as we took pictures of them.  One of them seemed a little aggressive as he tried to nibble my fingers.
   This place is a children’s playground and a geologists dream.  There is also a campground available for those who travel in their RV.
   We found this stop to be the doorway to even more wonders; The Petrified Forest and The Painted Desert.
   As we traveled north towards Interstate 40, we were continually blessed with beautiful sights of nature I had only heard about and dreamed of seeing as a little boy.  This indeed was my first trip to the west.  I was not disappointed.
