Troye Dalton I have interviewed and talked with many artists. Some are difficult to feel comfortable with and others, like The Dalton Gang, make you feel like you have known each other for most of your life. Troye shared with us as if we were the people next door. There were no inhibitions, shyness or nerves. At least they were not evident. Troye shared with us about her pet chicken, Rooster Toot, so named because he couldn’t crow properly. The remainder of the story of Rooster Toot can be found in Troye’s complete interview which you can play through the link within her photo at the left. Troye is a long time traveller and entertainer having toured the country for most of her life. Tom and Cheryl Dalton found it necessary to take time off due to health issues but returned actively in their ministry in 2001 when Troye was about 6 years old. I have found the Dalton Gang to be a group who indeed do offer |
ministry as well as entertainment. If you find the opportunity to attend one of their “concert-services”, you will be well advised to do so. You will be blessed.
The Dalton Gang have appeared at many interesting events such as: The White House Pageant of Peace; The Ohio State Fair; Dollywood; Renfro Valley; at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville and many other exciting places. They also are not strangers to television.
To say that Troye Dalton has been “home schooled” is an under statement. Troye has been “educated” in the school of life by the greatest teacher of all: “Jesus Christ”. She shows the kind of love you should expect from a child of God.
Troye’s father Tom has toured with the Isaacs and was born on July 27th in Dayton, Ohio and has an older sister.
Tom’s wife “Cheryl Looper” was introduced to Tom in 1980 and they married one year later and formed the Dalton Gang. Cheryl was born on June 8th in Monterey, Tennessee. She has four brothers and one sister.
Troye was born Troye Pilar Dalton on July 30th, 1994 in Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to Rooster Toot, her other pets include Lexa, a miniature Schnauzer, 2 aquariums of fish and an incubator loaded with quail eggs.. She has raised a multitude of other birds and animals including a great pyrenees dog (The Crigger Family has three Great Pyrenees).
Her special pet remains “Rooster Toot”
