“Cuzin” Ray (his nickname) has been with the Kingsmen for over 47 years. He sings Bass. The son of a Baptist Minister. He’s from Asheville, N.C. Likes golf, watching sports, old war movies and reading. How he has time for all this, who knows?
Ray’s birthday is May 16th. He has performed at the White House in a presidential concert for President Jimmy Carter. Ray is a member of the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame among others.
Ray is most proud of the untold numbers he has introduced to Jesus Christ. Ray’s and his wife, Carolyn, reside in Asheville, NC.
I’m sure it would not be difficult to fill a book, let alone this article with the accomplishments of Ray Dean Reese.
To be with The Kingsmen for all of these years is a testament to his talent as well as his love for The Lord.
