With over twenty years in radio, I think you’ll understand why I say: “Life is a song for me”.  So, during this season of thankfullness, counting our many blessings, naming them one by one.  Yes!  Count your many blessings.  See what God has done.  The many blessings that Jesus has so richly bestowed upon each and every one of us.

This is so important to acknowledge that He, Jesus is the reason for our true Biblical Prosperity.

After all, the word of God declares that it is because of Jesus that we have the power to get health and wealth.

So, once again, during this season of thankfullness, I am reminded of the words of a simple song from The Nelons entitled: “Thanks”.  Those words are: “thanks, thanks, I give you thanks for all you’ve done.  I am so blessed.  My soul has found rest.  Oh Lord, I give you thanks”.  Another song whose words come to mind are from The Perrys: “With All He’s Done For Me’.  Those words are: ”It would be easier to measure the sands by the sea than to thank Him, Jesus, for all he’s done for me.

I am reminded of the words of one more song.  This time from recording artist Bruce Carroll entitled:  “Who Will Be Jesus”?  Those words are: “who will be Jesus to them who’ll show the love that’s commanded in His Word.  They do not need a judge, they need a friend who will be Jesus to them”.

Finally!  Earlier in this article I mentioned True Biblical Prosperity and I truly believe a part of that is monetary prospertity.  What we need to understand is I truly believe that our God didn’t intend for us to heap up material possessions for ourselves selfishly.  Please, don’t misunderstand me since I believe there is nothing wrong with being blessed and living a comfortable lifestyle.  However, I believe that Jesus richly blesses us so that we can then be a channel of blessing to those that are in need.

So, let’s not forget the hungry, the physically needy but above all spiritually needy.  The homeless, and those that are less fortunate.
In our society, amidst the words of an Andy Williams Christmas classic: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”, Christmas time.  We’re celebrating the greatest gift of all: Jesus!  Jesus is the reason for the wondrous, joyous, glorious Christmas holiday season!

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE GIFT OF JESUS, YOU’RE STILL IN POVERTY!
