Inspiration from Behind the Lens Concluded!

How many have ever complained about what your boss has told you to do? I know I have. How many have thought that what they wanted to do was more important than what the boss wanted done first? I know I have. How many have complained because their boss didn’t thank them for doing what they were told to do or expected to do everyday? Again I have. Even though these verses talk about a master and slave we can apply them to our jobs. Our bosses are the masters and we’re the slaves. We’re expected to do certain tasks everyday and if something extra comes up we’re expected to do that as well (without complaining). When those tasks are completed we tend to think that we should be praised for it. I’ve been trying (not always with success) to think like Jesus said in the last verse, “We have done that which was our duty to do”. If we are doing what is expected of us at work and what God wants us to do we can know we’ve done a good job.
