Directions:

In a saucepan, add olive or canola oil and beef.
Cook about 3-4 minutes or until brown, stirring occasionally. Drain.
Add beef, beef stew seasoning mix, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, diced carrots, diced potatoes, chopped celery, chopped onion, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt, ground black pepper, flour and olive or canola oil into a slow cooker; stir and mix thoroughly.
Cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 9-10 hours.
Serve with your favorite crackers, cornbread and etc.
Variation: You can also cook this on top of the stove instead of using a crock pot if you choose. Just cook on low for about 2-3 hours. Add more beef broth during cooking, if needed!

Note:  This is one of my family’s favorites! I make it like my Mom used to when I was growing up, with more of a tomato base. It’s really good! Enjoy! Ingredients:
