I have seen and heard Michael Combs at least 4 times in the last three years. The first time I saw him was at Westfall Gospel Sing in Ohio about 2008. I saw him in the audience and then when he was on stage, I said to myself “that’s Michael Combs”? Then, he started singing and at the least, I thought “this is unusual”. Michael is very emotional in his presentation as you can see by the photos herein from his last concert in Columbus, Ohio. At that concert, I had my first opportunity to interview Michael Combs and I am very glad I got that opportunity. Michael is a “what you see is what you get” kind of guy. He loves the Lord and he takes his ministry very seriously. This explains his enthusiasm and excitement when he sings the songs given him by God. I specially like “Goin’ Fishin’”. He explains how he came to write the song and with his wife’s urging, also began to include guitar in his concerts.
