I have mentioned in earlier articles that one of the highest criteria in judging a Gospel Group is definitely “MINISTRY”. I have heard groups who although they may not have the greatest talent, they do score a high grade because of their ability to minister. Listen to "Satan and Grandma". | |
Within the interview we mentioned an article withing this issue of the Power Line Magazine and asked how they handle Music, Ministry and Money. Their answer is perhaps one of the best I have heard. (you can hear the entire interview by clicking the link at the bottom of this page). I found it equally impressive to know that Jeremie and Shannon are ordained ministers. This accounts for the great ministerial aspects of theri music. Elliott is a minister as well, even though he is not technically ordained (I believe it is more important to be ordained by God). While watching their performance, I couldn’t help but notice how professional they were. It is true that most well-rehearsed groups do plan their performances and movements. Sometimes this may have the appearance of being rehearsed and structured. I did not notice any appearance of planning or rehearsal in the performance by Three Bridges. I’m sure it was rehearsed (you don’t get that good without practice) but you wouldn’t know it. Watching Three Bridges in concert is like letting excitement out of a can. Once you open it, it’s out, you can’t contain it. Pure excitement, that is Three Bridges! You can see it in the photos I took at their concert in Ohio. Be sure and check out the website for Three Bridges by clicking their address www.threebridgesgospel.com. You will find their music and a schedule for when the will be coming to your area. Don’t miss it! |
