My favorite Bible verses are: “Study to show thyself approved”. “You’re held accountable according to your knowledge of the truth”. “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”. Put this altogether and it says that some of us are still in kindergarten, some are in high school, some are in college, but perhaps, none of us are ready for or know “the whole truth”.
Be tolerant of others. Love others. Christ loves us and God knows we do not deserve it.
I wrote a song called “Just Another Bum For Jesus”. Many do not like to think of themselves as “a bum”. We are bums, begging for the crumbs from God’s table. Another scripture tells us to not think more highly of ourselves than we ought. Listen to Just Another Bum For Jesus

Without Jesus Christ and His Salvation, we are nothing more than garbage, bums for Jesus. I want whatever crumbs He throws to me. I want to be Hot for God, not cold or lukewarm. I want to serve Him. The name on the door does not matter. The name on your heart does. I wrote another song called “This Is My House’. It tells us that we belong to Jesus. Not to a denomination or a building.
