Jesus Birth Word Search

     For this issue of the Kid's Page I decided to do a word search of people who I think were important to the birth of Jesus. Except the Three Wise Men all the people and angel are listed in the Bible. Have a wonderfully Christmas and Happy New Year.

Who are these people?

Gabriel is the angel that visited Mary in Nazareth ( Luke 1:26-38).

Mary and Joseph are Jesus's Mother and Father.

Elisabeth is Mary's cousin and John the Baptist Mother (Luke 1:39-45)

Herod was the King of Judea who ordered the killing of all male children in Bethlehem aged two years and under (Matthew 2:16).

Caesar Augustus was the reason why Mary and Joseph had to travel to the city of Bethlehem (Luke 2:1-5)

Gaspar, Balthasar, and Melchior are thought to be the Three wise men or magi that travel to see Jesus after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. The Bible doesn’t tell us their name. However, tradition has it that the wise men who came to seek and honor the infant Jesus were named Gaspar, Balthasar, and Melchior.
