2011 National Quartet Convention
There are many loyal and first-time fans to the National Quartet Convention
Following are interviews with some of them.

Jerry Greenwood
NQC Fan

JERRY: I’m Jerry Greenwood from Anniston, Alabama.
JIM: Is this you’re first time at the Quartet Convention?
JERRY: No, No!  This is our third year to come to the Quartet Convention.  A very enjoyable trip, enjoyed a lot of good gospel music.
JIM: What do you think draws most people here?
JERRY: Aside from just being a gospel music fan, I think the Gaither thing that he does has a tremendous following. I know, we went to the one he had yesterday just a great performance by a bunch of great artists you know.
JIM: Bill and The Gaither Vocal Band were at their booth greeting people. They had to cut the line off earty so the group could get ready for their next performance.  Did you get to see him?
JERRY: We got to go through.  We know some of the people that’s in the Gaither Vocal Band and know them personally and are very good friends with them.  Wes Hampton that sings with the Gaither Vocal Band lives in Birmingham and our son and our daughter-in-law and three grand-daughters live in Birmingham and my daughter-in-law works at a medical clinic and that’s where Wes takes his kids when they have health problems.  Just being around them and seeing them in grocery stores and just kind of personal things.
JIM: Have you been here for the whole week?
JERRY: We came in Wednesday morning and we’re staying til tomorrow.
JIM: Thanks for talking with us and enjoy the rest of your stay at The Quartet Convention
