2011 NQC Fans - Continued
JIM: Kind of like Donnie & Marie Osmond. A little bit Country, a little bit Southern. Music is music. If it’s good and glorifies God. It’s good music. I like a lot of different styles of Gospel Music. Bluegrass!
CARROLL: The Isaacs
JIM: I like the banjo and the mandolins and the music.
CARROLL: It requires a lot of ability.
LAURA: It’s time for the Bluegrass Showcase.
JIM: Thank you for letting us talk to you. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the rest of the convention!
To My Surprise! |
ACTUALLY - IT’S |
Although we were not able to interview Mark, we found that he definitely does have time for his fans. Rick and I immensely enjoyed having our picture taken with him. Rick was excited to see the motorcycle that he actually does drive. Can’t you just see him coming down the street, dressed as Elvis atop this fantastic motorcycle.
Upon viewing Mark’s video and listenting to his CD’s, we not only found Mark to exhibit and express his Christianity and his love for Christ. We also found that if you close your eyes and listen to Mark. He does sound like Elvis.
Rick and I look forward to seeing Mark again and this time, get to interview him. You will do well to try and see one of his performances, or get a copy of his video and CD’s.
You can find out more about Mark Eskew at his web site: www.MarkEskew.com. Below you can hear Mark and his rendition of Elvis’ hit How Great Thou Art. You can also also hear how Mark shares his love for God with his audience as he gives Thanks To God Most Of All.
We found Mark to be more than an Elvis Impersonator. We found that Mark uses his the fact that he has a voice and looks like Elvis as a way to share Jesus Christ with those who will go see “Elvis” but would not attend a church or listen to a sermon. Mark uses the Gospel Music that was sang by Elvis as his sermons. I find that Marks’ life is also a sermon.
