Rev. Jim Crigger - EDITORIAL  

   As I travel around the country in ministry and for this magazine, I find myself greatly concerned about finding a growing difficulty to find true, Christian Love for one another.
   Love was so important to our Saviour, Jesus Christ that he made it a commandment!  John 13:34-35: A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
   I shared this once with a Christian and she said “you mean that all you have to do to be a Christian is to love”?
   I responded: “No!  I am saying that if you don’t love, you are not a Christian”.
   Think about it.  We condemn those who do not agree with our theology.  We picket and hold up signs calling names at abortion clinics, etc.  I once told a group “how can you say to a person contemplating abortion, that God loves them and wants to save their soul, when you just held up a sign calling them murderers.  YES! ABORTION IS WRONG!  ABORTION IS MURDER!  However, how do you reach someone with God’s love when you just exhibited Man’s Hate!
   I am often mis-understood when I write things like this.  I am not advocating Abortion or sin.  I am advocating LOVE!  Without love, it would be impossible to reach the world with the Gospel.  Without GOD’s LOVE, it would be impossible to call myself, or you, a Christian!
